Your collective mind's collective visualization

Best girl ever needs the best custom ring ever. Can you visualize this?

We are about to get engaged and our planning a custom ring for my partner. We sent the message below to the designers. Oh great and wonderful collective mind: Can you see it? Can you picture it? Do you see in your mind the wonderfulness that belongs on the finger of the girl who makes me the luckiest man on the face of this great inhabitable planet?

Basic idea:

• 5-stone diamond ring in platinum-iridium 900 alloy.
• Size 7 ¼ (to be verified again)
• Overall classic design, organic/flowing lines.
• Prongs rounded at top, delicate, minimal coverage of diamond when viewed face-up. Overall delicate look but still sturdy and secure.
• Height above finger: Fairly low profile, most important to minimize areas to snag or large steps between stones.

Setting ideas:
• See pictures below for ideas. Rounded prongs and rounded ascent from the gallery, minimizing straight lines.
• Stone setting: Continuous taper of diamond proportions when viewed from above. Stones set close together but not overlapping. Minimize metal when viewed from above.
• Gallery: Simple with organic flow, + filigree/engraving. Would like most of design to be in gallery, not extending far onto shank.
• Diamonds cover top of finger but do not extend below finger level.

Shank ideas:
• Wider band (i.e., 3-4 mm ?? Will verify), comfort-fit rounded edges.
• European style.
• Want it to be able to sit flush with wedding band.

Note: The designer should have creative license with our ideas. They are the experts, and we want it to be design-wise and structural-wise both lovely and safe/durable. And most importantly, have fun!

Response by poster: Really? The point is: Given what we wrote together, can people picture in their mind what we are trying to design?

Nope, can't picture it.

If you're already working with a designer, what exactly are you asking for here?

Nope.

I have no idea what you actually want here. The relevant question is "can anyone recommend a custom jeweller who can make this happen, probably with some additional clarification from us." Who cares if a bunch of internet strangers can visualize what you want? All that matters is that you can meaningfully describe your desired ring to the person who will make it.

Again, what's your point here? Do you want someone on Mefi to design it? 'Cause there's a jobs section of the site it that's what you're asking.

Otherwise, no can't really picture it, but I'm not a jewelry designer. I bet if you asked a jewelry designer, i.e. a professional to take a look at what you want, I bet they could come up with something that would do you proud.

I think I can. You want the ring (the metal part) to have flowing lines, no angles. You want the 5 diamonds to progressively get smaller when looked at from above. And a lot of practical stuff like it not snagging on things (low profile).

I think the only confusion comes from us being laymen and not ring manufacturers (via use of terms like 'gallery')

Sorry for my joke answer earlier; I interpreted this as a stunt post.

No, I can't visualize it, but, seeing as I don't specialize in jewelry (nor does most of the userbase here), I don't really have any valuable information to offer. Try on a more specialized site, maybe?

And I'm sure if the designer doesn't understand you, he'll ask for clarification rather than throwing something together that may not be what you want.

he'll they'll ask

What you left out was the respective sizes of the diamonds, either in carat weight or diameter in mm. That's important--saying "continuous taper" isn't enough information.
