Problem Viewing Flash

Flash Player 10 doesn't work all the time.

YouTube and most other sites work fine, including embedded Flash. Certain sites, such as Chow.com, their Flash Demos load, then nothing. I run into this not too often, but would like to know how to fix it. BTW, using latest version of Firefox. Thanks!

Best answer: Are you using anything to block ads? I've had that cause some problems for me. If you're running AdBlock Plus or anything similar try disabling it and see if everything shows up the way it's supposed to.

Response by poster: Sorry for the delayed response. I don't know if it was FlashBlock, or AdBlock, but I disabled both, and it works now. Many thanks!

The obnoxious thing about Flash is that if it tries to retrieve a flash file which is blocked by an ad-blocker, it hangs forever waiting for the file rather than giving up.
