Wilco Poster
December 20, 2004 9:01 AM   RSS feed for this thread Subscribe

I'm trying to suprise a co-worker who's heading to NYC for the New Year's Eve Wilco concert. I'm trying to get him a poster for the concert as a Christmas gift; is it possible to acquire one online? (I live in DC) Google provided a photo blog of this; are these available for purchase, or are there any posters being sold with the graphic on Wilco's own website?

Since the poster you linked to is just text, you might be able to fashion a suitable-looking fascimile yourself with the right fonts and the help of Kinkos.

Not for New Years, but there are some cool Wilco tour posters here

Wilco's posters are usually design by The Heads of State, who say their New York City 2004 poster is coming soon.

Hmm... I e-mailed that company, so that's a good start. The Kinko's thing is a good idea, but it's not the same thing and seems a bit complicated.

I've actually told friends in NYC that if they see it, I'll PayPal them the shipping costs if they can tear a decent one down off a wall for me. So if any NYC MeFites wanna do the same, the offer stands.

Wilco at gigposters for what it is worth.
Maybe you could get them a t-shirt printed.

kenaman- they just replied with a link to that, saying the poster will be sold at the actual show and on their site starting Jan. 3rd.

So I guess I can't make a Christmas gift purchase, but I can order one as a suprise when we're back at work after New Year's.

There are better posters around Manhattan than the one in the flickr image.
