Seeking the wordpress of calendars

Looking for an open source, web-based calendar app.

Does there exist any decent open source software for calendaring with a web interface? Basically I am looking for the WordPress of calendar software. That is, I want software I can run on my own server. Functionally, Google Calendar would be perfect; I just don't want to give Google (or anyone else) personal information if I can avoid doing so. Thanks :)

I found OpenGoo to be pretty promising, though I haven't tried to use it myself.

Drupal. Calendar Module. Does everything you want and then some.

Best answer: Apple's new Snow Leopard Server includes iCal Server 2. There is also a note about it being open sourced as CalendarServer. The web interface looks pretty clean, but I have no idea how the opensource version works...

Response by poster: Thanks everyone, especially mmdei. Now I am reminded of the iCalendar standard. I suppose I should be looking for an iCalendar server and an AJAX web client :).

CalendarServer seems reasonable for the server component, though sadly it doesn't seem Apple has open sourced the web client as well (or I just can't find it).
