'kodomo no shiro' (national children's castle) - good for western children?

Is going to the 'kodomo no shiro' (national children's castle) in Tokyo a worthwhile experience for non-japanese-speaking elementary school-aged children?

I'd like to ask if any MeFi associates have taken their elementary-school-aged children to the kodomo no shiro (national children's castle) in Tokyo, and did your children feel it was a worthwhile experience?

In particular, I am interested in the experiences where the children did not speak japanese.

(if your children speak japanese and did go, I'd still be interested in your opinion whether non-japanese children would have fun there or not).

In case you're wondering, this is it.

Yes I know I can read Frommer's, Lonely Planet etc. But I want the input of someone who's actually been there...

I've never been there, but it should be interesting.

You know where I am dying to take my kids?

Studio Ghibli Museum.
