Best ecard websites?

What are some of the best e-card websites out there now?

I googled ecards and landed at 123 greetings. The site seems a little to cluttered and the cards feel like they are designed in the 1990s.

I use Hallmark and someecards, depending on the occasion, but there must be some other pretty good websites that have original and well designed greetings? Hallmark has started charging for some of their better cards, so I would like to find a free replacement.

Once in a while I'll stumble across a website that doesn't strictly do electronic greeting cards, but it has this link to send an e-postcard or greeting card and its usually made pretty well. I forget to bookmark when I see them and now my mind draws a blank.

Your suggestions please!

Here is a good one if you are sick of those hallmark cards.

U.S. National Parks postcards. Select a photograph from a national park, set the background color and an accompanying soundtrack, then personalize the greeting.

Pretty much all non-pay ecard sites are address collectors for spammers. If you use any of them to send a card to a friend of yours, your friend will also land on lots of spam lists and won't thank you for it.

That's why they don't need to charge.

Just a tip, I don't open any links to e-card sites anymore, even if they appear to have come from good friends, because of the possibility of viruses etc.

As Chocolate Pickle says, a lot of free ecard sites are used by spammers. If I ever send an ecard, I always put in one of my throwaway webmail addresses to send the card to myself, then cut and paste the URL into an email to the intended recipient.

I like Care2 and have never been spammed by it.
