I was browsing a favourite blog of mine, and inserted seemingly randomly was this text: e_SEmD. Being curious, I did a quick google search and found that tag littered throughout thousands of sites. Anyone have any idea what this is?

Some publishing system messing up when attempting to escape (or unescape) an em dash? You'll find instances of e_SEnD too, on some of those sites.

Well, that does seem pretty logical. And no where near as interesting as I was hoping it would be.

It's like when you get your newspaper and there's some errant LaTeX in it.
