Good HSA custodian wanted August 4, 2009 5:21 PMSubscribe
Best direct-to-consumer HSA custodian?
Looking to open a personal HSA for myself and the wife. Anyone have experience with a good one they'd recommend? Things that are important: FDIC insurance, web-based management, low fees, check writing, and investment choices; more or less in that order.
My wife and I have a Wells Fargo HSA we started ourselves. I'm not sure about paper cheques, but we do everything with a debit card, or submit forms for reimbursement if there's some hiccup with a particular vendor (never had to do this). They charge a $4 monthly fee, but nothing else (i.e., replacement debit card is free, etc.)
