Shoegaze: Can anyone find these men's shoes?
Hi all, I'm looking for these shoes or something similar: on NYC guy or Marc Jacobs guys (the ones with light-colored soles).
Something dark and leathery/shiny on the top and then white soles. The closest I can find are Puma Aqua Mostro L but it's not quite.
Any better ideas??

Here are some PF Flyers with patent uppers. They're not exactly the same, of course, but for what it's worth I have two pairs of PF Flyers and they're the most comfortable sneaks I own and really durable and well made. Much better than Chucks. Also, they help you run faster, and jump higher, like Benny the Jet Rodriguez.

The ones in the Marc Jacobs link look a bit like Camper shoes.

You might like Converse's Jack Purcell line. You can switch out the shoelaces, of course. They don't have the color range of the others posted above, but they're probably cheaper.
Jack Purcell Specialty II (sort-of patenty-leather)
Jack Purcell with Leather on part of the shoe
Jack Purcell in a soft Leather

Response by poster: Thanks everyone for the suggestions and links!
It turns out those Marc Jacobs sneakers are like $150 if you can find them, which is a bit much for going-out shoes, so the cheaper alternatives are appreciated.

Vans Authentic Lo Pro with patent upper; of course you can switch out the laces. Pretty cheap too, compared with that the actual Marc by Marcs would cost you (I am wearing a pair of PLASTIC shoes by Marc Jacobs that cost me $150)
