Men's Haircut in DC

Recommendations for a place to get a good men's haircut in the Washington, DC/Arlington, VA area? I'm looking for somewhere a little better than your run-of-the-mill SuperCuts/Hair Cuttery but not a totally intimidating/fancy salon.

Many good options are reviewed in the Washingtonian's 50 best list. Those might fail under your "intimidating/fancy salon" criteria, but maybe not; we're all intimidated by different things.

Supposedly there's a Vietnamese woman at "Professional Barber Shop," 2440 Wilson Blvd., who does a really good job on men's haircuts. Can't recommend her from personal experience.

I can recommend a fancy salon that is NOT intimidating. Email in profile if money is not your problem. I had the whole fear of salon thing too and then I went here and got my first ever really great haircut and have never looked back. It is primarily a chick place but I see guys in there all the time and they have male stylists.

If you're male, check out The Grooming Lounge. It's a very nice step up from Supercuts, and is made to be a place that a guy can relax.
