What fonts does Adobe install on my Mac, and how can I separate them out?
Adobe's fonts are wonderful but I've never appreciated the way that Adobe just installs files willy-nilly all over my Mac. Even Microsoft installs its fonts in /Library/Fonts/Microsoft rather than /Library/Fonts, the way Adobe does.
Basically, I would like /Library/Fonts to just be the fonts that are standard on the Mac. I'd like to put all other fonts into ~/Library/Fonts/subdirectory. I don't see that any third party has business putting anything in /Library unless it's absolutely necessary.
So, can I get a list of what fonts are what? (Adobe doesn't bother separating out its fonts in Font Book either.) Then, if I move all the Adobe fonts out of /Library/Fonts and into ~/Library/Fonts/Adobe, will anything break?
