What bigg shew?

Can anyone identify the sneakers that Svein (I think, on the right) is wearing on the cover of Röyksopp's album Junior?

A friend of mine has been investing time in this for a while - I figure I might as well help him out with some green love.

They look like old-style Ponys to me.

They look like Nike Dunks.

I don't see a swoosh on the side but a lot of the other characteristics (toe area, holes on the top, wavy area for the laces, etc.) match up.

Dunks can come in all kinds of custom colors.

Any reason they would be swoosh-less? I don't see one on the tag, either.

The JPEG image you posted has too many compression artifacts to be useful if you want to enhance the image, but I dug up a PNG version of the cover and tweaked the contrast, and it definitely looks as if there's a swoosh on the left shoe.

But swoosh or not, it's pretty obvious that it's a Court Force; just compare the front part of the shoe with with e.g. this picture of a "standard" Court Force. It's exactly the same basic design.

My guess is that it's a custom release from Nike Japan; they've been releasing an endless number of special editions of that model, often in collaboration with various designers/bands/athletes (which would explain the non-Nike logo on the tongue flap).

Sorry, I can't actually help, but I just wanted to thank you because I didn't know Röyksopp had released a new album... in fact, I've never seen anyone else who's even heard of Röyksopp!
