More like Court Force (aka the "new Dunk"). posted by effbot at 3:55 PM on July 24, 2009
Any reason they would be swoosh-less? I don't see one on the tag, either. posted by setanor at 4:47 PM on July 24, 2009
The JPEG image you posted has too many compression artifacts to be useful if you want to enhance the image, but I dug up a PNG version of the cover and tweaked the contrast, and it definitely looks as if there's a swoosh on the left shoe.
But swoosh or not, it's pretty obvious that it's a Court Force; just compare the front part of the shoe with with e.g. this picture of a "standard" Court Force. It's exactly the same basic design.
My guess is that it's a custom release from Nike Japan; they've been releasing an endless number of special editions of that model, often in collaboration with various designers/bands/athletes (which would explain the non-Nike logo on the tongue flap). posted by effbot at 5:33 PM on July 24, 2009
Perfect! Thanks so much for digging away! posted by setanor at 10:12 PM on July 24, 2009
Sorry, I can't actually help, but I just wanted to thank you because I didn't know Röyksopp had released a new album... in fact, I've never seen anyone else who's even heard of Röyksopp! posted by N2O1138 at 11:51 AM on August 9, 2009
