Question: incoming cell calls

When receiving an incoming phone call on a cellular phone, is there any way to differentiate between in-network and out-of-network?

So you don't answer the call and use your minutes? Short of memorizing every NPA-NXX that your carrier uses, I can't think of any. And even that isn't foolproof with number portability. Your cell company really doesn't have any incentive to make it easy for you to tell.

AstroGuy - even that feat of mental prowess wouldn't help, you can't tell which who owns what number anymore thanks to mobile number portability.
