Spanish International Relations

What are the important political science, international relations, or military history texts written originally in Spanish?

I am a political science (IR) phd candidate trying to brush up on my Spanish. My wonderful wife suggested I read a work in its original Spanish for practice.

Can anyone think of a work like this?

More political philosophy than poli sci, but you might look at the works of Ortega y Gasset (Revolt of the Masses). Or how about Eduardo Galeano's Las venas abiertas de América Latina, which recently garnered some notoriety when Hugo Chavez gave a copy to Obama.

Response by poster: Great suggestion Azure. I just remembered Che's book La Guerra de Guerrillas was (duh) originally in Spanish.

Any more suggestions?

If you're looking for classics, I'm not sure beyond what's been suggested (Castro, Guevara, Fuentes, Marquez?). On the other hand, you can always read the journals. Revista de ciencia politica springs immediately to mind.
