Upgrading from Act! v10 to Act! v11... Worth it?

I need to buy another license for Act! (contacts management software). Version 10 is kind of slow, but very good as far as functionality.

I am considering whether I buy another copy of the old version

or

Buy a copy of the new version and upgrade my v10 software.

If you have done such an upgrade, was there a noticeable difference in performance? I am not interested in integration with Office, just in the speed of the software.

Have you looked into migrating to a web-based CRM product? It would be more scalable and possibly easy to use. Sage will continue to 'upgrade' you to death if you let them.

Response by poster: Well, I ended up buying another license (needed to get started with some marketing in the new financial year).

mateuslee : Is your problem how slow it is? I am just putting up with it for the moment.

ijoyner : Any recommendations? Web based could be very interesting.
