What happened to the music group Nimbus? And where did they get one of their samples?

The Chillout 2000 compilation album has made me very curious about a group called Nimbus, as you can see from the link. Google searches turn up very little about them, and I'd like to know, what happened to them? The album is from the UK, if that helps.
I have a second question about one of the quotes Nimbus sampled. I will post it inside the thread, since the quote is long.
One of the Nimbus tracks, Subconsious Mind [sic], features several quote samples. I was able to track down one of them as coming from John Carpenter's awful movie Dark Star, but another has eluded me. Do the following lines ring a bell?
"You did what you had to. I did too. I can see that. Sure, I can see that. Put a few people in prison, a few more in hospitals, and a few more in cemeteries. But you didn't know. There's no way of knowing, if you were wrong or you were right."
"I'm sorry, I just--"
"There's no time for that."
"What can I do?"
"You can help us. We'll try to rebuild that transmitter. You can give us your help."
"All right. I'll do what I can."

Response by poster: Sweet. Thanks, rajbot and timb! Now I can look into his other music.
