honeycomb skirt

I saw someone yesterday wearing a wide knee-length white skirt covered in a pale grey honeycomb pattern. I want.

I've done Google/Ebay searches for "hexagon skirt," "beehive skirt," "honeycomb skirt," etc. I saw this alleged skirt from a bus, so I couldn't just go ask the girl where she got it. If anyone's seen such a thing in any stores recently, I'd really appreciate it!

Could it have been a dress? This dress from Old Navy came in strait and plus sizes.

Boy, that's a challenge. This is the closest I can find, and I am sure that it is not what you are looking for:

If you can't find it (which seems likely), you could try listing what you want on Etsy's alchemy section, where you describe what you want and crafters bid on the project. I've never used it, but I know that a lot of mefites have had positive experiences.

Did you try doing a search for "eyelet skirt"? When you said honeycomb, I immediately thought of this skirt, which is obviously not wide, but a search for "eyelet skirt" brings up this, which, of course, doesn't bring up a white/grey skirt, but looks an awful lot like a honeycomb.

Response by poster: Oh, one more helpful thing, I guess - the hexagons on the skirt I saw were definitely printed onto the fabric, and they were 3-5 inches across. So it's unfortunately not an eyelet fabric.

I know I've seen skirts similar to that over the spring and summer. I'm thinking they came from some of the mid-level stores like Ann Taylor/Loft or Banana Republic or Club Monaco and similar. I'm going to warn you that you may actually not have any luck finding it online right now, because several of these stores are switching over to their fall collections right now. So be sure to look in the SALE sections, but they may be sold out already...

Also, from my experience with those stores' online naming schemes, the skirt you're looking for probably won't be listed as a "honeycomb skirt" or "hexagon skirt" but rather as "full cotton skirt" or something -- described more by the style of the cut (full, aline, bubble hem, pencil, etc) and/or the fabric.

Another way to try searching, where the keywords "honeycomb" or "hexagon" might actually work, would be one of the social shopping sites lie Kaboodle or ThisNext, where one of the members might have tagged the "full cotton skirt" with more descriptive tags. Good luck!

That sounds similar to a Michael by Michael Kors (his line for us proles) blouse I got last year. I seem to recall that much of his stuff then was white with a honeycomb pattern. My blouse is white with a green honeycomb; I also tried on a dress that was white with a blue-and-gray honeycomb.

Anyway, you might try Michael Kors when perusing eBay. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Revolve had one, but its out of stock.

For clothes, glimpse.com is often a much better search engine than google.
