Event alerts?

Where can I get an RSS feed of ALL upcoming events, conventions, concerts, etc. for a particular city?

I live outside of Dallas, Texas and I'm always finding out about great conventions or events in the city after it is too late to attend. Is there a website that gives me me the heads up on these events? Like if there is a Pizza Convention coming in April 2010 I want to know about it now so that I can make plans to attend. Help!

outside.in aggregates newspaper, event databases, and local blog feeds regarding art & culture, bars & clubs, education, public spaces, real estate, restaurants/cafes, services, shopping, and sports & leisure by city. outside.in radar provides a more neighborhood-focused news and event information based on a specific address (like your home address).

hey, what's the big idea with your username!? :)

outside.in is difficult to customize to receive JUST the info that you want; anyone whose blog is marked with your zipcode can end up in your RSS feed, which is kinda annoying. upcoming.org (now upcoming.yahoo.com) is just what you're looking for, though. Last but not least, you could look for public calendars through google calendar and get reminders that way.

also you should totally petition listings.guidelive.com to have RSS feeds. I bet it would be ridiculously easy for them to implement.
