Is there a Slingbox-like device that will let me send a broadcast TV signal to myself, including closed captions?

I don't know exactly, but my brothers and I bought a Hava box for my dad for Father's Day to be stationed at my brother's house. When I was watching the feed, I could see the channel guide info/menus pop up onscreen as he was changing the channels and using the Tivo box.

That being said, it seems as if most/all of these boxes work by intercepting the signal between the cable box and TV, not by pulling the picture out of the TV. If CC is something that exists on the TV and not in the cable box, you're probably out of luck.

The Slingbox itself supports closed captions these days, as long as you're on Windows and are running the Slingplayer 2.0 software.
