US States List puzzle

Does anyone remember the US States List puzzle? Was it ever resolved? (More inside, thank you please.)

This website set up to discuss it doesn’t seem to have updated its flag list for several months so there's no help there.

The puzzle itself was previously discussed in the blue in 2002, and has also been discussed on google answers in late 2002, but with no success. I cant find anything thats more recent.

So; Does anyone now if this puzzle has been solved? Are there any other websites that give frequent updates on the puzzle? Thanks in advance.

i looked around a month or two ago and it seemed to have fizzled. hopefully i'm wrong...

Oh neat, I LOVE this kind of puzzle!

I rarely solve them, but they're fun :c)
