Windows Media Center Seekbar timouts?

In Vista, in Windows Media Center, when watching an Instant View movie via Netflix as a non-fullscreen, non-maximized window: How do I set a delay time for the seek bar on mouseover?

Here's the scenario:

Firefox is in a maximized window so I can surf the web. Windows Media Center (WMC) is in a non-fullscreen, non-maximized window with the "always on top" setting enabled. This way I can surf the web and "watch" a movie at the same time.

The problem comes with the "seek bar". When I'm moving the mouse around, I'll occasionally pass over the WMC window, and the seek bar pops up for 5 seconds. That seek bar, when the window is not very big to start with, takes up the majority of the viewing area!

Hivemind, here's where you come in: How can I set a delay for this seek bar before it pops up, and how can I minimize the amount of time it's on screen when I play/pause a movie?

For reference, this site seemed to help a lot, but I am neither familiar enough with the terminology nor brave enough to try changing anything in my registry without first asking you.
