Wyoming Filter: My father is headed to Yellowstone Nat'l Park and Jackson Hole in a few weeks. I want to get him a gift certificate to a restaurant he can use in Yellowstone or Jackson Hole.

This has to be doable online, since I'm in Chicago.

He likes stereotypically "manly" food - steaks, ribs, etc. No sushi or vegetarian places. Recommendations?

The Shoshone Lodge has a restaurant, and they're right close to Yellowstone. It's been better than 20 years since I've eaten there, though.

Bubba's is good. They don't seem to have a website, but maybe you can call them and work something out.

There are no independent restaurants inside Yellowstone, they're all operated by Xanterra (and another religious operation I can't remember the name of) - who may sell gift certificates. They didn't when I worked there over ten years ago, but who knows if its changed.

We always make a point to go to Nani's one night for dinner when we're in Jackson and The Bunnery for breakfast.

Dornan's Pizza and Pasta. It's in Grand Teton National Park and has the best view of any restaurant I've ever been to. (The view is the tetons.) I didn't see anything to indicate that you can order gift certificates online, but I'm sure if you called the restaurant you could work something out.
