I'm looking for a website about/for people that like to collect data about themselves.

I'm talking about people that like to plug in what they ate, distance walked, money spent, hours slept ect. into a spreadsheet or program and chart their life.

A while ago, somebody suggested that we at Metafilter should all join a group on a site called WhatPulse. I thought it was a bad idea in general, but WhatPulse is an interesting idea; it's a site that counts all your mouse movements and keystrokes and gives you data on how you use your computer; i.e., “you moved your mouse 1.3 miles this week,” or “you pressed the ‘k’ key 329 times in the last three days,” and things like that. It gives you running statistics and lets you track how many keystrokes and mouse movements and clicks you make per day, per week and per month.

I think zeaLOG is more useful than Daytum.

Those sites all look so detailed as far as numbers, but numbers rarely tell the story. People have been doing this for hundreds of years - they're called a diary/journal/notebook/daybook. Just a thought.

I'm like a broken record. Highly recommend zeaLOG. Much more flexible than other sites of the type and also has a social element with shared logs.
