Dog Boarding in North Jersey?

Does anyone know somewhere good to board a large dog in North Jersey? Looking for personal experiences with a place, obviously I can google a list of locations.

My dog is my baby and normally when I board him he goes back to his breeders (I am in North Carolina), where he gets to roam free on a giant farm with some of his brothers and sisters. I know that isn't going to happen away from home, but I am hoping for somewhere that will treat him with love and where he'll get to spend a good portion of time running around freely with other dogs. Most of all I am looking for somewhere that is trustworthy.

We used to take my dog to Fardale Kennels, in Mahwah NJ. He never wanted to leave. It was a long time ago, but I remember it being very nice.

Well, I'm actually a manager at a Doggie Daycare in Central Jersey (think Princeton.) I don't know how far that would be for you, but we're probably the closest you'll get to running around in field with his brothers and sisters. The dogs are separated by temperament and size into play groups, with which they stay the whole time, even at night. There's staff here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as well, so someone will always be looking out for them. We've got large yards and pens for them to hang out in, plenty of space to run.

I might be a bit biased, but I honestly think someplace like us is the best option rather than a traditional kennel. I'd suggest some places north of us but the only others I know of are in NY. I'm sure there are some in north NJ, though.

There's a good one near Princeton, if that's "North Jersey" to you. It's called Weber's. It's on Rte 1. There's also a vet on the premises.

If the Passaic area is good for you, I've used a place called Doggie Paradise.

If northwest NJ is convenient for you, I recommend Woodland Kennels. We always took our Labs there and the staff treated them like gold!

Morris Animal Inn, Morristown, NJ

I used to do French Bulldog Rescue and used them. My neighbour across the street has also used them extensively.
