How do I get one ticket to tomorrow's Yankees' game?

Best way to get a solo Yankees ticket for tomorrow?

I'm in NYC for the weekend and want to go to Sunday's matinee game -- sit in the bleachers, drink beer, etc. What's the best way to get one ticket? (StubHub appears to only sell doubles...) Thanks!

I would try calling the stadium to see if there are any not sold. Or you could go down there early and go to the ticket window. It's worth a try.

You could always see if someone near the ballpark is selling singles. Just make sure, as much as you can, that they aren't fake before you hand your hard-earned money for them. I think some teams have signs that licensed ticket sellers carry around with them.

Plus, beware of scalpers. I think that, depending on the local laws, you can get busted for buying scalped tickets as easily as for selling them.

i live in this neighborhood. people are always selling tix especially as you walk off the train on game days.

best bet: NYC Craigslist. there are always postings for just one ticket.

Stubhub has one. However, just show up at the game with cash, including some fives and tens to have correct change, and you can find someone selling single tickets. I keep hearing about tickets going for below cost at the stadium this year. Today I am a Yankee's fan - Go Yanks.
