A slightly more functional twitter

I'm looking for a minimalist, browser based twitter interface that allows my to group those I'm following.

Howdy,

So I set up a twitter account to keep folks updated about my t-shirt business (and to keep abreast of my fellow shirt smiths), but I've also been using it to read my friends' twitter feeds as well.

Now I'm looking for a way to read all the posts from only one group or the other at a time (that doesn't involve setting up a separate account).

I don't use twitter enough to bother with distinct client like tweet deck so I'm really only looking for a browser based solution. I've tried Tweetvisor but I have two problems with it: It us crushingly slow and the design ethos seems to be "see how much cluttery crap we can pack on the screen" a la tweet deck, which I find unbearable.

What I'm looking for is something clean and simple, like twitter.com and not something that tries to pack a half dozen windows on the screen at once, but with that one extra feature: The ability to tab between my friends and my business when reading other folk's tweets. Not something with three dozen extra features all packed onto one maddening screen.

Has anyone made something of the sort?

Best answer: troy's twitter greasemonkey script allows you to group people you follow, and view their posts all in one stream. you can selective turn off any of the other functions it comes packed with.

Response by poster: Thanks much all! Filttr and Troy's script both seem exceptionally suited for my needs!

Seesmic Desktop lets you track people in groups and also post from any of your accounts in one window.
