Where should I take 8 summer interns on an outing in Chicagoland?

As part of our college internship program, the company I work for typically has a sponsored outing (sometime in late June-early July) for students. It is usually on a weekday evening.

In the past, we've gone to Brookfield Zoo and to Second City. I am hoping that the hive mind can help me come up with a few more interesting options for this year. Thanks in advance!

The Taste of Chicago will be going on then, and as long as you go on a weekday that isn't the 3rd or 4th the crowd shouldn't be unbearable.

Baseball game, soccer game, concert at Ravinia, concert at Millennium Park. Oh and Art Institute and MCA have at least one night a week they're open late, I think.

Wrigley Field on a nice summer day is great place to be with a group.

Best answer: 2nding architecture boat tour. It's a wonderful way to get a new perspective on the city, and it's nice to spend an hour on the water.

If you're out late on a Friday/Saturday, check out the Neo-Futurists. (I work with them.)
