How to remove facebook from my blackberry?

How do I get facebook completely out of my blackberry?

I recently downloaded the latest version of facebook (v 1.5) for my blackberry (curve), and it synced my calendar and contacts list with my facebook. So my calendar then had everyone's birthday and my contacts list has peoples' facebook profile pictures and work information, etc.

I deleted the facebook application itself, and I managed to switch the calendar. But my contacts list still has everyone's facebook pictures and information. Do you know of any way to get rid of this without having to go through each one manually?

You can wipe your handheld... but that will of course wipe out everything everywhere. The contacts were imported from Facebook and are now regular Blackberry contacts.

You could restore your address book from an earlier backup? Assuming that you do regular backups of your BlackBerry databases. You may lose some emails but you can easily forward them somewhere else beforehand. This article has instructions if you need them.

Oops. Rather, if you restore ONLY your address book, then you needn't worry about losing emails since you are only restoring contacts.

Nope, I've never backed up my blackberry before. I was kind of hoping there was some way to just un-sync it or something.
