		<description>If no one in this thread give you a solid answer, you could always call or email the Syrian consulate in the closest major city and ask them for information.</description>

I can&apos;t really help with the rest of your question.  You can probably get a SIM card from any of those providers, assuming they don&apos;t require proof of residency or citizenship or anything like that as I&apos;ve heard that some providers in some countries do.</description>
