Anyone know of a simple program to flip video 180 and render?

I filmed some scenes with a video camera hanging upside down, does anyone know of a simple video program that will let me render it right side up? Freeware that's malware free preferred (win) Or something paid w/ trial works too as long as it's fairly straightforward. thanks

WinAVI Video Converter has a free trial, but is unfortunatly $29.99 once this expires. I have it on good authority that it'll do what you ask.

Are you using mac or windows? If it's a mac, this should do the trick: http://jahshaka.org/. I guess this option is included in some encoders/rippers, so you might want to check that section at http://www.opensourcemac.org/

If you're running windows, check their sister page at http://www.opensourcewindows.org/
They don't have a section for video editing, but like I said, some encoders/rippers will give you that functionality.

I've done this with VirtualDub, using the filters (it's not obvious how to do it). This walkthrough might be able to help.

Virtualdub is free. Load the file, go to Video, then Filters, add Rotate, select 180 degrees, make sure direct stream copy is on, then save/encode the movie.

This is included in Windows Vista Home Premium/Ultimate (Windows Movie Maker, I think it's called). Also, it is probably in Windows 7, if you're up for installing the release candidate (for free).

Seconding Virtualdub. It's free and has no spy-, ad- or malware.

On Linux, Cinelerra can do this, as well.

avidemux is open source, cross platform, and supports it through filters. In my opinion avidemux is better than Virtualdub in most respects.
