How do I make Twhirl recognize Safari as my default browser?

How do I make Twhirl recognize Safari as my default browser?

When I click links from inside Twhirl, it opens pages in IE7. I have already tried going to:

Start->Set Progam Access and Defaults->Custom and told the system to use Safari. But once I save my settings and reboot the machine, it's right back to using IE7.

I've also gone to Control Panel->Internet Options->Programs, but there's nothing to let me unselect IE7 as default.

Yep, I use computers every day and this one's got me boggled. Thanks guys.
