Help Me Blindfold My Wife

Blindfold recommendations (maybe NSFW).

I'd like to purchase a quality blindfold for use in bedroom play, and I'm looking for specific recommendations. Considerations include:

- My wife (who will be wearing the blindfold) has long, thick curly hair that snags easily.

- We'd like something that's as "peek-proof" as possible. We've tried things like bandannas, but they're not opaque enough and they allow peek space.

- Bonus points if the fit is adjustable in some way.

A young lady that I lived with liked the Lights Out Sleep Mask. As an added bonus, it's excellent for it's intended purpose as a sleep aid as well.
You might have to be careful around your wife's hair with the velcro fastener, though.

I've used, with great success, a red leather one from stockroom.com. It's lined with black fuzzy stuff (not sheepskin, but soft), it's got djustable elastic around the back, and it's quite comfy. You can also get cheapo ones at a travel store, which are not so sexy, but lightproof and adjustable. They work well, but we like the leather one best.

I have bought five of these over the years, replacing them when I've lost them, and buying 3 last time, so I don't have to pay shipping and handling everytime I leave one in a hotel. Friends who've tried them on have bought a bunch too.

It's 100% light-blocking, it has a fitted piece around the nose so no light comes in underneath, it has eye-pockets so you can open your eyes while wearing it and still be in total darkness, it won't mess up eye-make-up because it doesn't touch your eyelids. And it's comfortable. Worth every ridiculous penny. Oh, and I have long hair and it doesn't get tangled. The closure is adjustable velcro. Also available on amazon.

If you're not concerned with the aesthetics on your side of the blindfold, and just want something that will block her vision, skip the blindfold.

Place a bit of soft cloth over each (closed) eye - a washcloth, even - and wrap around her head using a product called "vet tape" - normally used to cover bandages on animals or to wrap around the lower portion of horse legs. It's a soft, stretchy, elasticized cloth that sticks to itself and can be reused. It costs about $2/roll and comes in every colour under the sun.

Sleep masks are the way to go here -- they're peek proof, and built to wear while sleeping, so they're comfy.

When she's naked, arms tied to the hook in the ceiling, I assure you that the vet tape is nice and sexy on VioletU.

Besides, the vet tape goes nicely with the riding crop.

We have a Catherine Coatney blindfold that is black leather and lined with velvet. The strap has velcro for adjustability. I don't remember where I got it, but I've had it for years and it is in perfect condition.

Consider a hood if you absolutely don't want peeking. I don't know how they work with long hair; I use it on a guy.

Quick and dirty and cheap: use bandanna, then saran wrap over that, then duct tape over THAT (careful not to get duct tape on hair or skin; obviously, don't put plastic over the nose). Keep EMT scissors handy.

We use a lot of vet wrap. Don't forget that it shrinks as it gets hot. Don't wrap it too tight; she'll have a headache. It will also leave a temporary pattern on her skin, if you care about that.
