Movie scene with an escaping cannibal victim

What movie did I see at least 10 years ago? (probably more) There were cannibals who kept their victims alive and just cut off arms or legs as necessary. One guy tried to escape and went hopping off on his one remaining leg. He was missing either one or both of his arms, and had this hopeful look on his face like he was really going to make it. One of the cannibals stood up and walked after him with an annoyed look on his face. I don't think the movie was about cannibals, this was just one small scene that has been haunting me for years. I'm hoping if I can identify the movie maybe I can purge the scene from my mind and never ever watch it again.

Response by poster: Pretty sure you're right Mountain Goatse. Thank you! For sure I'd have seen Rae Dawn Chong, thought "Oh, I like her" watched it again and had a fresh version stuck in my head.

I'm not sure why this one bothers me so much. I happily watched the first season of Dexter with no problems. I think it's the look of hope on the guys face that got to me.

It is a pretty disturbing scene, I also remember it from having seen it a long time ago. I think it is actually a woman, and she is tied up watching as the cannibal eats her arm.

Piggy-backing here - anyone scanning this question that remembers a movie with a kid whose parents are cannibals. The only scene I can remember clearly is him sneaking out of bed at night, walking down the corridor and looking into the living room where his mum and dad are bent over a dead body "feasting" on it. (Raw!!)

I also have a vague recollection of the final shot being the whole family moving together to a new town.

Don't worry, if I don't get an answer I'll use my own question... just thought I'd chance my arm.

Mountain Goatse - that's fantastic, thanks. I ended up on the The Encyclopedia of Cannibal Movies the other day trying to find this but no luck... thanks again.
