Is there a Mac (PowerPC) optimized build of Firefox 3.0.9 available?
I've been using ElFurbe's build of 3.0.1 for I-don't-know-how-long. But only because I can't find a PPC-optimized Firefox build after that one. And no, I don't know very much about compiling codes and such.

That being said, you can at least get as far as 3.0.8 from here, although I have no idea if that site is reputable or not.

I used to use a version of Minefield from BeatnikPad (he doesn't do G4 builds anymore) but I couldn't discern any difference in speed or reliability at all (and I'm pretty touchy about performance). I've never found a benchmark showing an improvement, either. You're probably better off using a regular ol' copy of Firefox 3.0.9 that's ready to run right out of the box.
