Bay Area Mariachi Action

I need a sweet mariachi band to play live for a 2 hour event in SF Bay Area in late May.

Live in NYC, but am producing an event in SF that requires mariachi music. I've found a few band contacts online, but have no way to gauge how good they might be. Any recommendations for mariachi bands or trusted resources for finding them muchly appreciated.

I just worked on a fundraiser in LA where Mariachi Reyna played. They're an all-female group and they were spectacular.

Crap. My office in SF had a mariachi band surprise one of the principals on her birthday. They strolled all over the office and it was awesome. It might have been these guys but i can't say for sure. I know I took their card but I can't find it!!

My folklorico dance group (Los Lupenos) has worked with Mariachi Azteca pretty extensively. Mariachi Monumental de Juan Reyes is another group who played in our last show. Video is here and their website is pretty busted but has email and phone info.

I'm not sure what level of an event you are planning, but Stanford University's Mariachi Cardenal plays gigs and they are entertaining.

I'm not familiar with any SF groups in particular and these are all based in San Jose/South Bay, but I'm sure going up to SF to perform would not be a problem.
