How do I restart Firefox with the default theme? The theme that's being used is corrupt and it blacks out all the menus. I tried to delete the current theme, but there doesn't seem to be any obvious theme folder.

There is supposedly a -safe-mode command line argument that prevents all extensions from being loaded and reverts to the default theme, but firefox.exe -safe-mode doesn't do jack on my machine.

Open this directory in the finder:

~user/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/Default/

and do a text search for the name (or part of the name) of the offending theme.

Danelope, the -safe-mode switch should work if firefox is not already running. Did you check to see if you had any zombie processes lazing about?
