The best Turkish food in Boston, in my opinion, is at the Brookline Family Restaurant. Here's the thing, though: it's not a very elegant room (it was formerly a diner, and looks it).

The nicest Turkish dining experience in Boston is at the Istanbul Cafe.

If you want fancy food with some Turkish influence, try Oleana in Cambridge.

Seconding the Brookline Family Restaurant. A Turkish classmate took me there a few years ago and we had a great meal.

Sultan's Kitchen at 116 State Street.

The chef put out a great cookbook & the prices are about average for a nice lunch/dinner. The menu is online at the site above.

Thanks for the info. I don't care about the dining experience, I want me some delicious sigara borek, muchver, iskender kabab ... I will definitely try Brookline Family Restaurant.

Oleana is my favorite restaurant ever. Once you're done in Brookline, go to Oleana. You won't regret it.

2nd the Sultan's Kitchen, but the place is more of a lunch counter with a few seats than a restaurant.

Sultan's Kitchen has extremely good food, but doesn't serve dinner on Saturday and is closed on Sunday.

I don't even know if it serves dinner on weeknights anymore--for a long time it didn't, then it did, and I don't know what the situation is now.

It's a great place to go for lunch though.
