I'm looking for interesting suspenders.

I've been wearing suspenders for 30+ years~they're so much more comfortable than that tight thing going around my waist. But I need to find sources for interesting (quirky patterns). I've found lots of places that sell boring plain dressy suspenders and braces, but no good supply for unusual ones. Helpmeee!

Umm, Xhris, I'm pretty sure davoid is asking about these kind of suspenders.

Suspenders are also known as braces in the UK. In the UK, garter belts are called suspenders.

This pair is made from vintage ties.

This Paul Smith pair is expensive, but luxurious and the most scrumptious shade of Kelly Green. You'd match Metafilter! I'm a little confused by why it's in the women's section; Paul Smith makes men's clothing almost exclusively. I'd say as long as the measurements fit suspenders are unisex.

Some new ones too: black & white, rainbow!, piano keys, nice pattern.

Do you wear the kind with clips or buttons?

I stopped wearing braces in the mid-90's, but I know Paul Stuart sells glazed crocodile braces.

It takes a Real Man to pull this look off, but I've admired yardstick suspenders on some of my lumberjack relatives.

Crazy, there's actually a Suspender Store online. I trust that will be helpful.

My dad only wears suspenders too, he's got an awesome collection. Actually bought a pair of Red Green suspenders (from the show) online some 12 years back (when buying stuff online was not so common).

If you want high quality braces, with unusual designs, that reain the "dressy" appeal, you want Trafalgar braces. Accept no imitations.

Also, look for them on close-out or seasonal sales, as they are expensive.
