Has anyone successfully attached an iPhone to their bicycle handlebars?

There are a bunch of iPhone handlebar mounts from all manner of sellers on eBay etc. Just seeing if anyone had any success and could recommend one? The only application is occasional road use for long distance cycling.

im using this thing : , which was $6.5 or so . You can see some gps info maybe, but to operate the phone you must stop. It's fine for listening to music on the road with no headphones (a refreshing feeling).. but if you're mountain biking the vibrations will be too much.
I used a small portable speaker to attach to my bike. Something like:

http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/49c8828a078c810c2740c0a87e0106d2/Product/View/C6851

(can't find exact make/model).

And attached it thusly:

http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=ajgzx9kqcfnq_827g5c59tft

I found that no mount was needed ..however, my bike has a flattish handlebar panel, which I think is unusual.
