Help us pick an ultra-low-flow showerhead

Ultra-low-flow showerheads: Can you recommend one?

We'd like to replace our low-flow showerheads (2.5 gpm / 9.5 lpm) with more efficient models. There seem to be a few options out there in the 0.5 - 2 gpm range, but we'd rather not spend a bunch of cash blindly and risk ending up with an unsatisfactory shower.

We have good water pressure and a tankless water heater (which sets a lower limit of 0.5gpm). Availability in Canada would be a bonus.

Niagara Conservation makes a showerhead rated at ~1.5gpm that I like a lot. The supplier I used to buy mine doesn't seem to be around anymore, but a little googling should find some...

I've tried Bricor showerheads in the past, and have had good results. The company uses a patented system to keep the pressure relatively high while preserving a 1 or less GPM. It's not as strong a water flow as a conventional head, but it's up there. Also, you can discuss your needs with a sales rep and have the head customized to your home's water pressure if you need too.

I'm extremely picky about shower heads and I hate most low-flow ones for having too weak of a flow. However, we just recently bought this Delta adjustable low-flow shower head and I don't actually hate it! It has two settings available: a water-saving 1.85 gpm and a more standard 2.5 gpm. It looks like Amazon is willing to ship it to Canada.

Canadian Tire carried a "Plumbshop" licensed version of the Delta shower head 10 months or so ago (Amazon wouldn't ship to Canada because the patent was licensed by Plumbshop presumably) . I put them in all my showers and they work great and give you the feeling that they aren't actually low flow. I checked the Canadian Tire website, but I can't seem to find it, you might want to try going into the store.

2nding the adjustable flow low-flows. I actually prefer a kind of navy shower, so the ability to go from low-flow to no-flow at the flick of a wrist is optimal for me.
