Help me remember the name of a series of kids books about anthropomorphic dinosaurs I used to read.

OK, these were "chapter" books...not books with drawings, just on the cover.

They were a series. The characters were anthropomorphic dinosaurs who went to school. The books were a first grade to third grade reading level, I'd guess. The characters were basically human beings, as in they did what humans did at school but they looked like dinosaurs. One of the main characters was a green triceratops. Her name may have been Sarah. I think she had a twin brother. In one book, her twin brother was sick and getting lots of attention, so Sarah tried to get sick too, so that she could stay home from school and read comic books all day or something.

Does anyone remember these books?

Was it an "alternate universe" where everyone was a dinosaur? I recall a book about a (human) kid who woke up one day and was in the dinosaur version of his world -- same characters, but dinosaurs instead, and he had to figure out how to get back to his world. Can't remember the title, but maybe that will trigger a memory for somebody...

No, that's not it kat721...it was for older kids, like age 7-9. Thanks anyway!

I haven't found the book that my first post referred to, but is it the Dinoverse series?

Ok, I found the original book I was thinking of. I don't think it is the one you are looking for (originally I thought the main character had a sister who could be your "Sarah"). But I am posting here anyway:

The Land Before Time?

I've never read these books but I have seen the animated film. There is a triceratops named Sarah (or Cera) in the books and film.
