Question: Iron Chef: Potluck Edition

Help me win the work potluck challenge. The ingredients? Chocolate and cheese.

The official rules state it can be one or the other, but I think the winner should have both. I want to do something a little bit more creative than chocolate cheesecake, but I don't know enough about cheese or chocolate to come up with good pairings to begin thinking of a dish. Any ideas?

http://www.davidlebovitz.com/archives/2008/10/cheesecake_brownies.html

I might even twist this a bit and do chili brownies and/or maybe a bit of a bit of cherry liqueur into the cheesecake if I wanted it to be absolutely over the top.

There are a bunch of "easy" chocolate truffle recipes that call for cream cheese (and I think I've even seen some that call for Velveeta). This is one example. Granted, you're not supposed to be able to taste the cheese, so it's not as obvious a combination as chocolate cheesecake.

Fondue seems like the obvious choice...melted chocolate with strawberries, bananas, pieces of cake, etc. and melted cheese with all kinds of bread cut into cubes.

enchiladas de mole

Yeah, I don't really like it, and I understand that it is a tricky thing to cook properly the first time you make it, but some Mexican food with a mole sauce seems like the ideal choice. You've got 1) Mexican, a potluck staple; 2) Mole, a unique and somewhat exotic element; and 3) both items in the challenge.

Depending on the awesomeness of your workplace, figuring out a way to incorporate this Ween album could seal the deal.

Chocolate cupcakes with cream-cheese frosting. Make the cupcakes amazing and the frosting job creative and attractive. Maybe add some fancy decorations.

Chocolate goat cheese truffles. They sound completely revolting, but they are the best truffle around. No doubt a chocolate goat cheese cheesecake would also be delicious.
