Wedding florist needed! Who would you recommend (or not recommend) in St. Louis?

I'd like to know about really good experiences and really bad ones too.

My wife enjoyed working with Lesher's on Hampton. Said they really listened. (more than me, even - ha!)

We used The Flower Cart on Olive Road in Creve Coeur (though Google seems not to know them very well so they may not be around anymore). We knew just what we wanted and were on a budget, so our primary driver was price. They were comparatively cheap, they showed up on time, and the flowers looked great. Good luck.

For our wedding, we did a mix of DIY and florist. We got some of our flowers from a seller (don't remember which) at the Soulard Farmers Market and arranged them ourselves. They were totally fresh, looked great, and the price was very reasonable. For the bouquet and boutonniere, we went to Don DeFoe's on Watson and they did a great job. They listened to the specifics that we wanted but they also had great suggestions.

We used Botanicals on the Park (located at Magnolia & Grand) & although I couldn't possibly have cared less about flowers (it was a concession for my mother), I must admit that they were lovely & worked with us quite well.

Check out your local board on theknot.com. The ladies there should have more suggestions for you and be able to share their experiences.
