Modern (recently new) color laser all-in-one device.

Looking for a modern (recently new) color laser all-in-one device. The device I had specced out seems to not be available any more - no one has it available for some odd reason. I need help picking another one, please!

I was eying picking up an HP CM2320nf MFP device, as it fit my needs exactly: Compact enough that it wasn't a beast, color, scanning, and a Laser (I'm done with Inkjets, they have a bad history with me), and less than $1,000. However, when I went to make the purchase, it's difficult to find - Best Buy has it online only, and is out of stock; Staples is out of stock; Amazon had it listed, but the reseller canceled the order w/o reason, etc. We suspect that it's discontinued, or going to be replaced soon.

What I am looking for is something that is:

* Laser, not Inkjet
* Color
* Multifunction (Flatbed scanner; document feeder is NOT necessary)
* Networkable (Ethernet preferred)
* PC, Mac, and Linux friendly
* Decent print speed (Color should not be much slower than B&W, 20 PPM minimum)
* The ability to handle cardstock (Business Cards, etc.)
* Fax is optional
* Duplex is nice, but optional

I've liked HP for the most part, but the next model up from the CN2320 is an additional $2,000, where the next model down is considerably weaker. I'm not familiar with other brands enough to choose wisely.

Thank you for your help!

I have an HP CM1312nfi MFP and it is quite nice.

Has everything you list - but no duplexing (I did not know this, am somewhat dissappointed).

It has drivers for just about every operating system under the sun - including x64 versions of Windows. (With one exception - Windows Server 2008 - no drivers at all... Yet they have Server 2003)

Best answer: Based off some other threads on AskMeFi, I wound up going with a Brother MFC-9450CDN. It has all the specs I am looking for, a reasonable price, and extended toner cartridges for both color and black. Brother also has a good reputation, from what I have seen.

The only drawback (and this is minor) is that nothing rivals HP in terms of Linux drivers. Brother has them, but HP is the king of CUPS support.
