On average. How long does it take a first class letter to reach its destination in Sweden.

The USPS website says the time "varies". I'm interested to hear what others have experienced when sending regular mail from the USA to Sweden. Thanks!

Best answer: The line, "On average. How long does it take a first class letter to reach its destination in Sweden." is what shows up on the green.

And depending on what day of the week you sent it, 4 or 5 days at the most. Based on experience sending letters to and from the US to Sweden and the UK. Whoever is running the international bit of the USPS is really doing their job(aside from high prices on heavier items).

Best answer: When my fiance was in Sweden this past summer/fall, I found that it was almost never more than a week for a letter/postcard (from Seattle to Lund). I think that 4-5 days is a good estimate.
