Pizza Bella, pizza bellissimo

What pizzas were on the menu at Pizza Bella in Crouch End, London, during the 1990s?

I lived in Crouch End, London for most of the 1990s. During that time I ate hundreds of delivery pizzas from Pizza Bella. They were the best pizzas I ever ate, and had some inventive combinations of ingredients... gorgonzola and anchovies... egg and spinach. Now I would like to make my own versions but I can't for the life of me remember the exact menu. I know there was one called the 'Alba', a good four seasons, a fishy one, a Florentine. But what were they?

(I think Pizza Bella still exists but is under new management and the menu may have changed... in any case I can't find it online).

Any help/memories most welcome. The ones I really miss are the Alba and the one with the egg, but I can't remember what they were!

I've seen the egg/spinach one at lots of other places. It's a pizza fiorentina. And the Alba one, just at a complete guess, sounds like a pizza topped with bechamel sauce instead of tomato sauce. Pizza Express do those.

I'm pretty sure there's no Pizza Bella there now. Where in Crouch End was it? I live nearby and could check the next time I'm in the area.

Response by poster: I think the alba had gorgonzola and mushroom but don't know what else

(I made a gorgonzola and mushroom pizza tonight and it was FANTASTIC.)

Pizza Bella was on the high street, just past the clock tower on the left as the road bends round and heads up to Muswell Hill.
