What are some good non-sugar-alcohol protein bars?

What are some good, healthy, protein bars that don't have sugar alcohols in them?

I'm looking for some protein bars that don't have sugar alcohols (maltitol, lactitol... basically anything sugar+ol), don't use artificial sweeteners, don't use High Fructose Corn Syrup, are high in protein (20+g), and are low in carbs (30g max).

I know it's a lot to ask, but I've found Elev8 Me bars... which gives me hope. They get pretty darn close, but I'd like to have some more protein in my protein bar.

Thanks,
Marc

Here's a basic recipe for making your own, from Stumptuous.

Not sure if they count as protein bars per se, but Lara bars are delicious and extremely simple-- just fruit and nuts (which definitely give them protein). And they come in lots of tasty flavors.

My personal favorites are GREENS+ and Greens and Whey.

I believe they are sweetened (mildly) with such things as brown rice syrup and/or cane juice. Real sugar way better than sugar alcohols.

G+W are 26g carbs, 17 from sugars, with 17g protein. Greens+ are 20 carbs, 17 from sugars, with 20g protein.

So it looks like greens+ would fit your bill nicely.

N.B. These both have the added benefit (from my perspective) of a whole slew of organic greens powders and such, in addition to lots of protein. mmmmmm superfoods.

Another good homemade recipe, if you like lower-carb stuff.

i'd stay away from the protein bars that contain peanut butter. the clif's builder bars that are referenced above are on the recall list.
