Can you identify this 1950s robotic dog?

Daniel C. Dennet of Tufts University has pics (for some reason this page seems to load better in explorer than firefox, at least for me) on his webpage of a robotic dog he named Tati after filmmaker Jacques Tati.

There's a picture at the bottom of this page. Thats also where Dennett mentions there's a reward for any information.
