Help with Handbags

[HandbagFilter] Can anyone recommend a source for good-quality, stylish (but not fashion-victimy), inexpensive handbags? (UK)
Hi all, I want to invest in a nice new all-purpose handbag since my previous one has torn. I'll be checking out the major department stores and the high street but would welcome suggestions for where else to try - websites or actual shops. I don't want anything above £50. I do want something non-leather, cute, spacious, wearable and edgy without being overly trendy or in your face.
My last bag was from Ollie & Nic - it was pretty and much-loved. I'm looking for something of roughly the same price and quality as the bags you get there, but I don't like anything in their current sale.

Try thrift shops. Seriously. I've had to stop even looking at the handbag section in thrift shops because they always have so many irresistably cute ones and I just don't need any more handbags.

Get thee to a resale shop. Aha, on preview, orange swan got there first. So, I'll second. Thrift shops are the way to go.

eBay! There are a lot of couture knockoffs that come out of Asia - fine quality, low price and the same lovely designs.

Queen Bee Creations has some amazingly cute bags. They're not based in the UK, but they ship internationally.

As you specified non-leather, you might like to try Etsy. There's thousands of hand-made handbags there, and most sellers will ship overseas if you ask them.
Plus, you're very unlikely to run into anybody else with the same bag!

Are you looking for leather? I get that feeling from checking out the Ollie & Nic selection, which makes it a bit tricker to work with in your price range.
