Name these Zero Punctuation references

In many of his reviews, Yahtzee of Zero Punctuation fame includes a picture of a white male and sometimes an asian male. Who are these people?

Just look like stock images to me. The guy in the blue shirt at least.

The white male is a friend of German photographer Thomas Ruff.

Yeah, I know. Weird, huh?

About 6 months ago, TinEye launched. It was entirely useless as the dataset was so small, but it was such a great idea (if it could only work) that I bookmarked it. I've tried it every once in a while since then, with limited success. This is the first time the results were useful.

What's amazing is that after typography's image was cropped and rotated, it was small and blurry, but apparently there was plenty of info there to match up the sources.
